Hello Bobcat nation! My name is Paul Harris and I am your new principal at Rule ISD. I am excited to be a part of this school and live in this community. My first teaching interview was at Rule ISD–and I always knew someday I would be wearing these colors, representing this school and the amazing people of Rule, Texas and the great people who walked these halls before my arrival.
You can expect a fair person with morals and values with tons of passion and high energy. I will demand much from the students and even more from my staff. The bar of excellence will be set high from the first day of school and I will be relentless in protecting the students and teachers and staff under my charge.
All students will be treated with dignity and respect and I expect all my teachers and staff to be treated with dignity and respect. I expect all rules and regulations to be followed by students, teachers, and parents. We must set an example for the students.
I have incorporated the core values and leadership principles that have guided me for most of my adult life. I am not perfect but my effort to help all of these students will be tireless.
I will do everything in my power to help prepare these students for life after Rule High School. I cannot do it alone. My teachers and I need your help… the entire community’s help… to prepare these young Americans for the journey they will embark upon soon. I need everyone to set an example and show our students what being a citizen of Rule, Texas looks like. We will learn, work hard, have fun, and help each other. A rising tide lifts all ships.
