SCHOOL CALENDAR UPDATE: Friday, January 18th is a now a Regular School Day; Monday, January 21st is a School Holiday.

In order to better accommodate our families, we are now switching the Friday, January 18th holiday to Monday, January 21st. Monday the 21st is a federal holiday. So now Friday, January 18th is a now a Regular School Day is Monday, January 21st is a School Holiday.

RULE ELEMENTARY WINS DISTRICT RUNNER-UP; JUNIOR HIGH EARNS 3RD PLACE AT UIL ACADEMIC MEET

  Rule Elementary and Junior High students had two very successful days last Wednesday and Thursday at the District 14-A UIL Academic Meet in Rotan. Out of seven schools, Rule Elementary was the overall Second Place school and won the Runner-Up Elementary Champion plaque with 581.2 points.  Rule Junior High earned third place in the Junior High division with 368.5 points. Bobcat Drama Club Hosts Fall Fundraiser Show

The Bobcat Drama Club presented their fall show, “Hasta Va Vista, Dracula!", on the afternoon of Sunday, October 28th.  A special thanks to everyone who attended and those that either baked or bought the wonderful desserts for our fundraiser cake auction!! Rule Elementary Visits Abilene Philharmonic Orchestra

The Rule Elementary's Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grades attended the Abilene Philharmonic Orchestra's concert on Friday, October 26th. The musicians introduced the students to the individual instruments and listened to them perform. David Itkin, the conductor, explained to the students about different parts of the songs and how together they tell a story. Afterward, they had a picnic lunch at Sears Park. Fritzler and Navarrette Advance To Cross Country Regionals; Dancer and Moore Medal for the Junior High

The Bobcats and Ladycats represented Rule well on Wednesday, October 10th at the District Cross Country Meet in Rotan, including sending two regional qualifiers to run at the Regional Meet at Angelo State University in San Angelo on Monday, October 22.
